helpLine honoured by the SME Initiative

The award ceremony was held yesterday at CeBIT in Hanover: Dirk Martin and Harald Popp, Managing Partners of the helpLine Group, accepted the prize for second place in the IT service category. “We are absolutely delighted about this prize from the SME Initiative,” says Dirk Martin who, as well as his role as Managing Director of the helpLine Group, is also a Honorary Federal Chairman of the “BJU – Die Jungen Unternehmer” association. Martin believes the awarding of a prize in this target group is particularly importance, since “innovations come mostly from young and SME sector companies. This is why this award is so important to us.”

The SME Initiative is an organisation that offers independent advice on the IT sector to SME-sector companies. Very often, companies’ IT decision-makers are also their commercial directors, who may not always be experts in software and IT. The SME Initiative has been conferring the innovation prize annually since 2004. With the prize, it promotes innovative products and solutions that offer particularly high advantages for SME-sector companies.

Harald Popp and Dirk Martin, who founded their company in 1998 after graduating from their studies, proudly accepted the prize on behalf of their colleagues. “Without our team, who constantly deliver innovative achievements in areas such as development, support or sales and consulting, we wouldn’t be here today,” declares Harald Popp proudly.

A new release of the software, which was developed in Germany, will be available shortly after CeBIT: amongst its other features, version 4.1.6 offers users even more user-friendliness and more interactivity.
